Designed by Taipei’s famous designer Ray Chen, HOTEL PROVERBS is located on the busiest area in Taipei’s East District, where it’s easy to shop, take a walk, and find things to eat. The exterior architecture is very low key, while the interior design pairs calming red copper tones with exquisite and well-rounded wood and leather elements—creating a sophisticated yet unconventional Taipei glamour. EAST END, the hotel’s bar on the second floor, is the only bar in the world that Japanese world-class bartender, Mr. Ueno Hidetsugu, works with. It is also one of the most popular bars in Taipei’s East District. I highly recommend their cocktails and finger food.
