Veteran record design artist Hally Chen loves taking long walks and traveling. He had been nominated for the Independent Music Awards in the U.S. and Taiwan’s Golden Melody Awards for his design work. As a writer, he explores zakka, gourmet food and cultural travel in the columns he writes for Taiwanese magazines. His favorite Taiwanese food combinations are minced pork rice with dried bamboo shoots, noodle soup with braised bean curd and kelp, congee with deep fried oysters.
